2023 events

A sneak peek of  the planned Calendar of events for 2023, for the club.

Hopefully you will find all or some of the events a good reason to get your classic on the road and see a bit of the Scottish countryside.

We are working on other events to add to this calendar so keep looking at our website for the latest version of the planned calendar.

Full details and Regs etc for CCHMSC events will appear closer to the time of each event.

We will also list other club and classic events and shows as we hear about them.

Penty to choose from for classic motoring.

If you would like to join the Club download the application form now.

Sneak Peek 2023 Events
Below is listed the latest view of the 2023 events calendar, for your club. Some dates may change, and events added as more information is obtained but a good start to plan your classic mortoring diary for next year.  We open with a pre-Easter event, the Argyll Classic.
Argyll Classic   -  2 April
With the arrival of spring in the air,  we return to the roads of Argyll, not seen for quite a few years.  With new roads to explore, this event promises to be a great start to the classic sporting year.
The Red Hackle Tour  -  14 May
Our tribute tour to the Black Watch. Start and finish to be once again at the Black Watch Museum Perth. This venue has very successfully been used as the start finish venue in several past years. Organisers Ron Adam & George Shand have been working on yet another new route.
Ed I don't know how they still do it!

Tour of the Ochils – 23 July.
Some time since we explored this area of Scotland. With new roads to cross through some stunning scenery and places to visit. Organisers Jim and Norma Watson who recently joined the team have some great new ideas for our events.
Rally of the Borders  -   24 September
Several years since we have driven this area of Scotland. I team up with organiser Ralph Forbes to turn his extensive knowledge of the roads in this neck of the woods into a route that takes you 'off the beaten track', as only Ralph knows how. Keeping to around the 140-160 mile mark enables cars of any year to make it a day to remember.

Classic High Tea  -   3 December
End of the touring year for members to get together to chat about their year of classic motoring, and what is happening next year, at the Royal George Hotel in Perth. Includes their award winning Meringues, which never cease to amaze.
