Sneak Peek 2020 Events
Below is listed the latest view of the 2020 events calendar, for your club. Some dates may change, and events added as more information is obtained but a good start to plan your classic mortoring diary for next year.

Argyll Classic   -  5 April
With the arrival of spring in the air,  we return to the roads of Argyll, not seen for three years.  With new roads to explore, this event promises to be a great start to the classic sporting year.
Drive it Day - 19 April 2020
Your club is a supporter of the annual Drive it Day events.

The Rotary Club of Blairgowrie is preparing its fourth Drive-it-Day and the date is Sunday 19th April 2020, a week after Easter.

Up to 100 classic cars will assemble at Blairgowrie Golf Club before a spectacular drive along quiet East of Scotland roads with glorious scenery.  The route will take you through Fife to St Andrews with a lunch stop at Craigsanquhar Hotel, Logie . Then through Kinross, Glendevon, the Sma’Glen and Aberfeldy finishing in Pitlochry’s Atholl Palace Hotel for high tea, auction, raffle and prize giving. Applications now open

The Red Hackle Tour  -  10 May
Our tribute tour to the Black Watch celebrates the 75th anniversary of VE day this weekend. Organiser Ron Adam has created a great route covering new roads, which includes a lunch stop. Start / Finish once again at the impressive Balhousie Castle, home of the Black Watch Museum in Perth. Challenging roads and spectacular scenery are the trademark of this event and the 2020 route will be no exception.
Dales Moors and Forest - 6 & 7 June
Last year we took you up the lakeland passes. For 2020 Dave Spence has created a new venture, once again heading over the border. Starting in Gretna we travel deeper into the 'All Creatures' Yorkshire Dales, North Yorks moors, and east to the Cleveland Hills, before reaching our overnight around Harrogate. Our second day will take us west through the Dales to the 'fell' country, and the Forest of Bowland. Turning north through the Dales National Park, we head to the finish in Cumbria.
Grass Gymkhana  -   2 August
A day of fun in a field testing the drivers skill and  car craft. Some new tests and activities in a larger field, thanks to George Shand and his friendly farming neighbours.  Designed as a day of fun, that won't break your car, held centrally so easy to get to from across Scotland, makes this a date to put in your diary.
Clyde Valley Rally  -   27 September
For 2020 we will seek out more new country roads across and beyond the Clyde Valley. Organiser Ralph Forbes has 'collected' a selection of great roads on his travels across the region, to form a new route leading to a new finish venue for this great event at the end of our season of tours.

Classic High Tea  -  6  December
End of the touring year for members to get together to chat about their year of classic motoring, and what is happening next year, at the Royal George Hotel in Perth.
