Run to Arisaig - 8 & 9 August 2015

Shot from the 2014 adventure
As this proved popular last year, Alan Duncan is doing it all again this year on Saturday 8th August over to Sunday the 9th.
Meet
up at Dobbies Garden Centre Stirling, like last year, for breakfast,
ready to depart at 10.00am. The route will head along the very scenic
route to Callander and on to the A82 and up to Glen Coe . Stopping at
the Famous Clachig Inn, near Glen Coe Village PH49 4HX for lunch at
around 12.30pm.
After lunch and a few photos, head on the single
track to Glen Coe Village, then back onto the A82 across the
Ballachulish Bridge and on about 2 miles to the Corran
Ferry ( £7.90 ), once across take the scenic drive along Loch
Sunart, and along some of the best views on the UK, where Harry Potter
and Local Hero were filmed .
The dinner as of last year in the Arisaig Hotel is now fully booked, with 40 people sitting down for the meal. A pub quiz, and entertainment
from Alan and others follows, then retiring to the lounge.
Saturday afternoon and Sunday, can be spent on some of the best beaches in the uk.
Hope the Oban Classic Car Club will join us again this year.
